After breaking both her legs, Annie Riley is confined to bed in her family's new home. Unable to do anything for herself, she quickly becomes bored, until she starts to notice strange noises coming from other parts of the house. Her parents and brother insist that she's imagining things, but Annie – unable to leave her room – starts to worry that something else is lurking just out of sight.

Seventy years earlier, another Annie lived in the same house. This Annie, however, was very different. Hopelessly devoted to her father, and filled with hatred for her mother, this Annie eventually disappeared. Her parents were executed for her murder, but what really happened to the original Annie? And is she responsible for the horrific events that are about to occur in the present day?

Annie's Room is the story of two girls, both named Annie, who live in the same house seventy years apart, and of a terrifying evil that targets them both.
