A haunted railroad runs through a small American town. Even through the cemetery. And although everyone knows that this railroad was abandoned many years ago, some people swear that they've heard a ghostly whistle late at night.

Richard is running from the consequences of a terrible mistake. Milly is haunted by memories of an accident in the forest. When they meet at a party, Richard and Milly are thrown together by the forces of fate. Someone or something seems to be trying to push them together, regardless of their own choices.

Soon, Richard and Milly find themselves trapped in the clutches of an evil force. Lusting for blood, the beast on the tracks will stop at nothing to get what it wants, even if it has to alter reality itself. But is the beast merely a cover for an even more dangerous entity, one that lurks in the cemetery near the edge of the abandoned railroad?
