Daniel Bayliss is a troubled man. Thirteen years ago he was tormented by demons, but today he's ready to be released from the psychiatric hospital where he grew up. He knows that the demons weren't real, that they were an excuse used by his abusive parents.

As he tries to adjust to his new life, Daniel starts seeing things that shouldn't be there. Strange figures follow him during the day, and a dark presence haunts his dreams. Something is coming for him, and Daniel struggles to work out what's real and what's in his head.

He soon discovers, however, that the demons of his childhood might have been very real after all.
