Thirty years ago, tragedy struck the occupants of Hathaway House. Craig and Beck Westcott were killed, and their baby son Michael was left all alone in the house for several days before the gruesome scene was discovered by his uncle.

But was Michael ever really alone?

Today, Michael decides to move back to Hathaway House with his pregnant wife. Determined to move beyond the horrors of the past, he sets out to renovate the house. Soon, however, a dark presence begins to make itself known, something that seems inextricably linked to the crib where Michael was found following his parents' death.

Where does the crib really come from? How did Michael's parents really die? Whose ghostly hand is sometimes seen – even now – resting on the crib's side? And what dark fate awaits Michael's unborn child?
