THE NIGHT GIRL

From the outside, Crestview Retirement Home looks pretty ordinary. When Juliet starts her new job, however, she quickly discovers that something strange is lurking in Crestview's corridors.

Working the night shift, Juliet is supposed to look after the elderly patients. As she gets to know her co-workers, Juliet learns that part of the building has been sealed off, and she hears whispers about a ghostly presence. One woman in particular, Jennifer Mathis, seems to strike terror into the hearts of everyone at the home. But is Juliet just an ordinary woman, a ghost, or something else entirely?

Meanwhile, eleven years earlier, young Juliet discovers that she has some unusual talents. She soon starts to take advantage of those talents, but while she's able to keep her activities covered up for a while, eventually the true horror of her actions begins to spill out into the real world. But how is the horror of her childhood connected to the strange events many years later at Crestview?

The Night Girl is a horror story about a troubled girl, a haunted nursing home, and the stubborn refusal of the dead to stay buried.
