After many years on the road, Ben Freeman returns to his home town. He knows no-one wants to see him, and he knows his family will be horrified by his arrival, but he doesn't care. Ben's far more interested in a remote farmhouse, and in the existence of a mysterious place known only as the Border.

Bowley is a town with secrets. The stag-headed man is on the loose again, hunting humans and stealing their hearts to add to his collection.
